High Risk Medical Pool  

It's time for Georgians to fund a High Risk Medical Pool.  There are currently 2 to 3 percent of Georgians who are truly uninsurable. They want to do the right thing and purchase health insurance, but can't.  Thirty-four states currently have a High Risk Medical Pool. Georgia has one.  It just has never been funded.  It's time for Georgia to find creative ways to fund such a pool. We have to look for ways to fund this pool, and help these Georgians who want insurance to be able to purchase it.
